Jamie is a human-powered adventurer who has completed a staggering 52,000km of adventuring in 31 countries.
The highlight of his award-winning adventuring career is running solo and unsupported from Vancouver, Canada, to Buenos Aires, Argentina, crossing two continents, running through 14 countries and overcoming challenges like the Atacama and Sechura deserts, navigating his way around the Darien Gap and running over the Andes Mountains (4830m).
Jamie’s adventuring includes 20,524km of adventure running, 29,273km of bikepacking, over 2000km of wilderness hiking and summiting 6 mountains over 5000m, including Aconcagua (6962m) and Chimborazo (6268m). Jamie’s adventures also include stand-up paddleboarding, ski touring and swimming.
Before becoming a full-time professional adventurer, Jamie was a partner at an international financial communications agency and worked on several high-profile accounts, IPOs, fundraisings and crisis management.
This combination of a 12-year corporate career and nearly a decade of pushing both his physical and mental limits gives Jamie a unique insight into what it takes to increase and sustain productivity, efficiency, and satisfaction.
