Professor Mark Hannaford

Mark has +30 years’ experience, combining entrepreneurship, expedition leadership, medical innovation, and social change pioneering, with broad exposure on a global platform and a former background in the military.

Mark is an honorary associate professor at the Exeter University Medical School and the founder of Extreme Medicine. Extreme medicine is now regarded as a medical sub-discipline with a global community of 250,000 medical experts, working together to deliver urgent care outside everyday medical environments - from outer space and the deepest oceans to remote deserts and worlds highest mountains tops.

Mark is also an avid-adventurer with tales to tell from all 5 continents.
